Based out of Charleston, SC, Cutie Pa Tutus has quickly spread across the US and internationally as well. The line of tutus and capes has been featured several times on JamesGirone.com, in Tot Trends Weekly, About.com, RetailMinded.com, etc. The line will soon be featured in Dance Magazine and also Cupcake Magazine.
What began as a very tiny business grew tremendously in a very short period of time. Within 11 months, Cutie Pa Tutus has expanded to 14 US states, 43 retail stores at last count, and wholesale relationships include stores in Dubai, Japan, Guam, South Africa, Russia, Saudi Arabia and, most recently Canada.
Recently Cutie Pa Tutus was featured in James Girone’s Project Runway, as well as listed as the Newcomers to watch at the ENK show by Marilyn Kirschner, former editor of Harper’s Bazaar and current editor of JamesGirone.com. The line has also been featured numerous times in Tot Trends Weekly and named one of Tot Trends featured Editor’s picks for 2009. Most recently, Cutie Pa Tutus participated in an event with Zulily.com and broke their sales records!
Celebrities love the tutus and capes: Jessica Alba’s daughter was recently photographed in the LAX airport wearing her hot pink cape. Denise Richards has tweeted about Cutie Pa Tutus, and messages about the products also came from Tori Spelling and Nancy O’Dell.
